VIEW PRODUCT LISTINGOur peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) are collected by leukapheresis and further processed using Ficoll gradient and several washes to remove platelets. We test all our lots post-thaw for in vitro responses to CMV antigens, tetanus toxoid and LPS.Our normal PBMC products are HLA typed so you can select your HLA type of interest. Our PBMC express a variety of alleles from the always-popular HLA-A*0201 to B*2705, DRB1*0401, and other alleles common in the U.S. population. All donors are tested negative for HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and other blood-borne pathogens. Our healthy donors may take low-dose aspirin, birth control pills or anti-depressants, but many do not take medications. We are genotyping donors for the SNP at position 158 in Fc gamma RIII alpha, which is provided in the Certificate of Analysis when available. All cells should be handled as if potentially infectious following biosafety level 2 procedures.
Store normal PBMC in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen (< –120°C). Product may be stored at < –75°C for several days, but cell viability will decrease with extended storage.
